Consumer Sales Consultant & Administrator

We are representing a well-established manufacturer of high-quality cable management systems, known for delivering tailored solutions for prestigious projects, including luxury residences, iconic retail spaces, and modern office environments. Quality, customer satisfaction, and brand reputation are at the core of everything we do.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, fast-paced business where you can truly make an impact. The role is office-based, and applicants should live locally, ideally within a 30-40 minute commute, to ensure job satisfaction and longevity in the position.

Key Details:
  1. Salary: £30,000+ (exact range confidential)
  2. Bonuses: Monthly bonus (10%) and quarterly profit share, adding approximately 15% to the base salary
  3. Holiday: 25 days plus public holidays (5 days more than the statutory requirement)
  4. Parking: No on-site parking available

The Role:
This newly created position is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with the right skills and attitude to build a successful career in internal sales and marketing. You will support the small but highly-skilled sales team, manage customer relationships, raise quotes, and handle a variety of sales-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, issues, or complaints
  2. Create and follow up on quotes for consumers and small orders
  3. Track leads, quotes, and project statuses
  4. Investigate quality issues and organise returns or replacement parts (with team support)
  5. Support marketing projects and campaigns
  6. Maintain accurate records and ensure office procedures are followed
  7. Provide ad hoc sales admin support as required

Skills & Experience:
  1. 1-3 years of experience in specification sales, sales administration
  2. Formal training in sales and/or account management
  3. Experience raising sales quotes within the specification building products sector
  4. Polite, professional, and persuasive communication style
  5. Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking abilities
  6. High attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Familiarity with sales order processing (SOP) and CRM systems (experience with Sage and Microsoft Office 365 preferred)
