Salary: £24,800 plus London Weighting Allowance £5,319 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Location: Office Base is London TVC. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Content Data Management Team is responsible for researching, creating, and maintaining metadata and IDs for BBC Studios' content catalogue in a way that is accurate, consistent, and timely. The data created and maintained by the Content Data Management Team support various commercial licensing activities and integrates into multiple downstream systems, including Rights and Deal Management, Asset Management, Marketing, Licensing, Finance, and Reporting. This role will work under the support of the Content Data Executive and Content Data Manager.
THE ROLE
The Content Data Coordinator is responsible for researching, creating, and maintaining accurate and detailed metadata and IDs for audio and video content within BBC Studios' data management system, supporting commercial licensing activities. This role involves responding to queries from content stakeholders, providing guidance to resolve issues, and proactively improving the quality and integrity of content metadata through ongoing research and data enhancement projects. The coordinator will build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, promoting the team as subject matter experts and championing the rights management system as the 'single source of truth' to ensure consistency across the company and keep the data aligned with changes in BBC Studios' activities and the media landscape.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of data and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of working with databases.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience or studies in administration or data management, especially in media or metadata environments.
- Understanding of BBC Studios' content and processes, including acquisition and investment systems.
- Familiarity with the global media landscape.
