The Content System Engineering team is at the cutting-edge of the latest content management and content processing systems. We are extremely passionate about what we do and have an exciting opportunity to hire a 24/7 shift-based Content Systems Support Engineer who will be able to resolve incidents to ensure our systems are operating as efficiently as possible.
What you'll do:- Provide 1st and 2nd Line 24/7 Support: Offer expert support to operational and production teams, for content and production processing systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely incident resolution.
- Monitor & Maintain System Health: Continuously monitor the performance and health of production systems, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact operations.
- Incident and Change Communication: Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders and system users regarding incidents and system changes, ensuring all parties are informed and any potential impact is understood.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance workflows and bring new projects into support.
- Enhance Monitoring Tools: Collaborate to develop monitoring solutions, ensuring that critical systems are being monitored, and issues are detected early.
- Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and any ongoing issues, and create reports for internal teams.
- Excellent Problem-Solving, Prioritization, and Organizational Skills: Strong ability to assess, prioritize, and resolve multiple issues efficiently.
- Support Skills: Experience providing 1st and 2nd line support in a technical environment, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and work collaboratively with various teams.
- Can-Do Attitude: A proactive, positive mindset with a 'can-do' attitude, always willing to take on challenges, find solutions, and go the extra mile to support the team and ensure the success of the systems.
- Team-Oriented Mindset: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues, and contributing to a positive work environment.
- Availability for 24/7 Support: Willingness and flexibility to provide support in a 24/7 shift environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Technical Expertise in Broadcast Systems: Understanding of MAM systems, production workflows, and broadcast infrastructure, including both on-prem and cloud-based systems.

Your office space:Osterley: Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station.
