Contracts Manager - North West London

Salary: Up to £70,000 + pkg
Location: North West London
Region: London

Position: Contracts Manager

A leading, highly reputable Main Contractor who has a strong reputation within the construction industry and invests in their staff to ensure well-established training is in place as well as a clear sight of career development.

They offer groundbreaking and value solutions for all clients and are diverse in the projects they carry out such as Private Residential, Commercial, Health, Leisure, Education, Religion, Conservation, and Social Housing.

Due to their success and strong turnover while delivering outstanding results, they now have an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing a range of schemes.

Contracts Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver numerous construction contracts, ensuring programme requests are met and client objectives are accomplished.
  • Manage contracts to certify targets are being met on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Supervise project direction and ensure that client conditions and requirements are met.
  • Ensure that Health and Safety is upheld across all sites.
  • Identify important decisions and arrangements required to deliver successful projects.
  • Take responsibility for self-development and the development of others.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, structural, and influencing skills.
  • Maintain a track record of managing numerous schemes concurrently.
  • Attend pre-contract meetings and take accountability for design and quality supervision, ensuring suitable actions and documentation are in place.
  • Staff contracts sufficiently and liaise with the Bid Team to ensure contracts are on track to be won.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication.

Personal Specification & Requirements

  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to grow within the business.
  • Knowledge and experience of large-scale refurbishments and new builds.
  • Good problem solver who can work with minimal instruction.
  • Smart, presentable, and comfortable dealing directly with customers.
  • Punctual, reliable, and possessing good practical skills.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent.
  • Established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Up-to-date CSCS and SMSTS certificates.
