SO, WHAT'S THE STORY?

Digital at Dr. Martens is evolving, and our EMEA team is on an exciting journey to enhance our online experience. This role will be at the forefront of this journey, shaping our Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) strategy - ensuring every digital interaction is seamless, data-driven, and customer-focused.

THE GIG

The CRO Manager will lead our CRO team, reporting to the Digital Director for EMEA. This is an opportunity to own the CRO function, drive A/B testing and personalisation strategies, and optimise the digital customer journey across our regional websites.

As our Conversion Rate Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive A/B testing and personalisation strategy to improve website performance across EMEA.
  • Managing onsite testing and personalisation from ideation to execution, ensuring measurable conversion rate improvements.
  • Collaborating with UX, Product, and Marketing teams to enhance user experience and drive commercial impact.
  • Overseeing the CRO backlog and leading Agile ceremonies to ensure seamless test execution.
  • Analysing user behaviour, leveraging tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and heat-mapping software to inform decision-making.

Put simply, for this role the key things we're looking for are:

  • CRO & Experimentation Expertise - experience in CRO, e-commerce optimisation, or digital experimentation, with a data-driven approach to improving website performance, ideally coupled with people management experience.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills - Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, VWO, etc.), and an understanding of UX/UI principles to optimise customer journeys.
  • Collaboration & Leadership - Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate insights effectively, and lead a team to drive impactful results.
  • Explore - understand the consumer impact of your role, connect with other teams, and see the bigger picture within DM.
  • Drive - embody pride in our brand, proactively seek improvement, and deliver on promises with integrity. Show initiative, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
