Job Description

By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organization whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.

Are you looking for a career move that will put you at the heart of a global financial institution? Then bring your skills in culture monitoring to help Citi detect the values and practices across the bank that might increase risks to our operations, or in turn, help us win. A healthy Citi Culture should positively impact our clients and the markets we operate in, which should be reflected in feedback from our stakeholders.

Role Overview

The Citi Culture & Behavioural Insights team aims to drive excellence in business outcomes, improving how we operate, our internal controls, and how we show up for clients. Our projects should also improve our working environment, engagement levels, satisfaction, and intent to stay.

The successful candidate will play a lead role in the London team coordinating all Culture & Behavioural projects with the broader Human Resources (HR) team and key stakeholders across the Citi franchise. Ensuring Culture is integrated into all aspects of HR and works across the organization, the successful candidate will ensure insights and output from our project work and research inform and enrich all other HR deliverables.

The successful candidate will also play a key coordination and collaboration role with other areas of the organization, such as Risk, Internal Audit, Internal Communications, and Compliance, along with other areas across the Citi franchise when behavioral projects are underway. This includes coordinating between all areas of the Culture & Behavioural Insights team work including, but not limited to, our Culture plan, Health Assessment, Culture Council, ABI projects, and Culture Dashboard to ensure that these areas are working closely with other HR projects.

What you will do

The individual will play a lead role in the following key areas:

  • Own and coordinate key interactions across HR disciplines to ensure that the 'golden thread' of our Culture work can be consistently woven through Citi's propositions and processes, starting with our leadership and learning offerings.
  • Work closely with and support the Global Head, Culture & Behavioural Insights in all strategic delivery areas.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other areas of the organization, such as Risk, Internal Audit, Internal Communications, and Compliance.
  • Support Citi's Culture Council review cycle, Culture Health Assessment, and the development of the Culture plan.
  • Be a connector - build relationships and engage with stakeholders across HR and the bank more broadly to understand the variety of offerings, key timelines, and how Culture can coordinate effectively with all areas.
  • Support in building the Culture & Behavioural Insights team's reputation in the external market, including with regulators, as a bank that understands the significance of culture in driving performance and makes constant strides to improve in this space.

What we will need from you

  • Advanced Degree in any of the following areas: IO Psychology, Applied Psychology, Behavioural Science, or other relevant areas of the Social Sciences.
  • Capable of performing effectively in complex situations with limited guidance.
  • Experience in working in large, preferably global organizations.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.

What we can offer you

This role will offer you the opportunity to build in-depth knowledge of financial services operations. Every day will present new business challenges that will help you develop new skills to drive your career.

We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve. In turn, we prioritize our employees and provide the best-in-class benefits they need to be well, live well, and save well.

  • Generous holiday allowance starting at 27 days plus bank holidays; increasing with tenure.
