As our Corporate PR Specialist, you'll secure IKEA's position as a meaningful and trusted brand, focusing on our retail presence and positive societal impact. Your role will involve promoting and protecting the IKEA brand through effective media and stakeholder relations, and showing leadership when issues arise.
You'll need a media-first mindset, be goal-driven, and thrive in a demanding environment. You'll collaborate with our agencies, across various business functions, both locally and with our group colleagues, and work comfortably with senior stakeholders.

- Excellent English communication skills
- 5-8 years in Corporate PR, including digital
- Retail or corporate PR background with storytelling and media relations talent
- Proficient in social media and AI trends
- Skilled in c-suite profiling, crisis communication, and change leadership
- Advantageous: Familiarity with IKEA's brand, culture, and values
- Shape and implement corporate PR strategy for the UK and Ireland with the PR Manager.
- Manage IKEA's corporate narrative and strategic media engagement.
- Develop and produce PR project plans and content (press releases, Q&As, social media, etc.).
- Contribute to the IKEA UK IE press office, relevant reactive enquiries.
- Monitor media to identify opportunities and manage risks.
- Measure and follow up on PR activities.
- Enhance communication preparedness for reputational issues and crises.
This position is full time, you will work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The principal location is working a minimum of 8 days per calendar month in Service Office and the remainder working remotely at home.
The role of Corporate PR Specialist will offer a starting salary of £40,000 and the full IKEA Benefits package.
