A corporate associate is offered an outstanding opportunity to join an industry-leading corporate team at this top-tier international practice in London.

The firm ranks as one of the top firms and M&A practices in the UK, being one of the largest and most well-established domestic UK law firms.

The London corporate team consists of over 70 lawyers undertaking high-value, complex, and challenging matters for clients both domestically and internationally across various sectors, with a focus on real estate. The team advises on complex and high-profile UK and international transactions, covering high-value corporatised real estate transactions including M&A and JVs in relation to both corporate-wrapped real estate.

My client is currently looking to add a talented corporate lawyer with strong experience and interest in advising on M&A (Private), Joint Ventures, as well as Structurings and Re-structurings.

The salary bracket for the role starts at £117k from 1 PQE, up to £130k at the more senior end, in addition to a relatively industry-standard bonus scheme at that level, which can top £30k depending on activation.

The successful corporate associate joining this team will handle a full range of corporate work, which will include:

1. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents to affect public and private M&A transactions, including offer announcements and scheme and offer documents (for public M&A) and sale and purchase agreements (for private M&A), and ancillary transaction documents.

This position is ideally suited to a mid/senior level corporate associate between one and four years' PQE. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

1. A strong academic background
2. Training and post-qualified corporate experience gained with a reputable national or international practice or city-firm
3. Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Experience in business development and client relationship management

With regards to hybrid working, my client operates a 60% office attendance policy, with the option to also work from any of their regional offices.
