Job Description
Consulting - Corporate Services and People Graduate Scheme - Manchester How we make the difference in Corporate Services and People

Corporate Services and People is an exciting area to join, encompassing Procurement, HR, Finance, IT and Legal. We help organisations evolve through people, performance and transformation.

In the face of technological disruption, increasing regulation, fast-changing customer needs and a competitive talent market, we have a vital role to play in supporting businesses and providing a platform for growth. For every external market force, there is an internal organisational opportunity, from embracing AI and automation and responding faster to regulatory change, to rethinking the employee experience.

On this programme, you could be working with KPMG clients to get them ready to implement change, identifying the right insights to improve performance, harnessing the power of data, improving efficiency, reducing costs and making the most of technology. You'll think critically about how to evolve workforces for the future, providing insight to help corporate decision-making and help transform finance and/or people functions to help organisations remain resilient through change.

How you'll grow with us

As a graduate with us, you'll work with a range of clients across all sectors and industries - including some of the most well-known and largest organisations in the world. You'll get to dive deep into different organisations, learning how they work, and advising on how they can be better.

Over the three years, you'll work toward a professional qualification, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants professional qualification, with the support of our learning community. There is also the potential for future development via other relevant certifications and accreditations, helping you build a meaningful career and get set up for life.

The teams you could work in

There's an opportunity to work across various teams within Corporate Services and People to find your niche and expand your skills.

Within People teams, you could be looking at how automation, big data, and machine learning are combining to fundamentally reshape our workforces. You'll focus on the Environment and Social Governance (ESG) agenda - particularly climate change and the importance of inclusive workplaces - looking at how these factors are redefining how we think about and organise work.

The Finance function teams play a key role in providing insight to support corporate decision-making. Under increasing pressure to do more with less, it becomes more important to understand how finance can deliver value to support future business success. You'll make sure organisations have the right operating models, tools and talent so that CFOs and finance professionals can provide strategic insight and support to the wider business.

If you're looking to make a real difference to organisations, using problem-solving skills to find solutions, join us in Corporate Services and People Consulting.

The CIMA qualification uses innovative technology and is delivered via a blend of Online Classroom Live and recorded courses, in addition to in-centre classroom courses. It also has wrap-around support which consists of dedicated professional coaches, online portal content and live and recorded additional study sessions, which means there is a form of support for your every need.

This blended approach enables you to study and learn the content at a pace suited to your learning style, but ensures all are at the right technical level prior to stepping into revision elements, so you can focus on your exam technique before the exam.
