Your Role in our Mission

This role will lead and collaborate in contract negotiations while building strong collaborative relationships internally and externally. Your approach is pragmatic, customer focused and collaborative - your goal is to reduce friction and drive efficiency for the business and our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing general legal and compliance support across the business, and assisting the Head of Legal as and when required
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising on a range of global commercial contracts, including sales, renewals, partner/referral and supplier agreements, in addition to other corporate agreements that arise
  • Implementing and managing legal and compliance processes and assisting the compliance teams across the business
  • Promoting legal, compliance, and risk management best practices throughout the company
  • Working with the Head of Legal and identifying areas to continually improve and drive efficiency into the contracting process with internal and external stakeholders
Skills
  • LLB or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
  • Minimum of 2+ years' post qualification corporate/commercial legal experience in a tech business/environment
  • Proven technical understanding and proficiency in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Working experience with the laws of England and Wales and some exposure to the laws of Australia and the United States, is advantageous.
  • Proven experience of handling data privacy issues in the context of commercial transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written, oral, listening, and organisational skills with proven ability to interact effectively with varied audiences, including leadership team members
  • Proven competence to take on new challenges and work independently, with a "can-do" attitude, in a very fast-paced and constantly evolving business environment
  • Previous experience in the review and improvement of contract templates, legal IT systems, practices and processes
  • Demonstrable experience providing clear legal advice on new go-to-market activities and initiatives
