About the Role

Join our team as a Creative Automation Manager at YouGov and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our global visual brand. We're looking for a dynamic professional with a passion for creative operations, digital asset management (DAM), and automation tools, with an eye towards incorporating AI into our workflows. You will report directly to the Global Head of Visual Brand, taking ownership of our DAM system and templating tools, ensuring they are leveraged to optimise creative processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain brand consistency across all channels.

What will I be delivering?
  • Own and Optimise DAM & Templating Tools: Manage our DAM system, ensuring it serves as a central hub for all visual assets. Optimise the use of templating tools to streamline creative output, ensuring consistency and scalability across global campaigns.
  • Shape Creative Automation Strategy: Develop and implement a strategy for creative automation, leveraging existing tools and exploring new AI-driven solutions to enhance our creative workflows.
  • Build and Deliver Roadmaps: Develop clear 3-, 6-, 12-, and 24-month roadmaps for DAM and automation tools, aligning with broader visual brand objectives and ensuring timely execution of milestones.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with design, marketing, and regional teams to understand creative needs and challenges. Implement solutions that align with YouGov's brand vision and operational goals.
  • Ensure Compliance and Best Practices: Maintain industry standards related to data compliance, security, and privacy within the DAM system. Facilitate adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices for digital asset management.
  • Incorporate AI into Creative Workflows: Evaluate and implement AI tools to enhance content creation, workflow automation, and asset management processes. Stay ahead of emerging trends to ensure YouGov remains at the forefront of creative technology.
  • Foster Innovation and Efficiency: Continuously explore ways to improve workflows, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business and creative goals.
These are the essential you will need to get an interview:
  • Extensive experience in digital asset management (DAM) and optimising creative workflows.
  • Proven expertise in managing and maintaining DAM platforms and templating tools across multi-country environments.
  • Strong understanding of AI applications in creative operations, with the ability to integrate AI-driven tools into existing workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement roadmaps, aligning technical solutions with creative and business objectives.
  • Experience gathering stakeholder input and translating it into actionable strategies.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data compliance, security, and privacy standards in relation to DAM systems.
  • Technical background with experience in digital content management, taxonomy standardisation, and metadata organisation.
  • Ability to foster innovation by optimising content reuse, data collection, and reporting.
  • A strong eye for design, with experience in graphic design and a solid understanding of visual brand principles.
  • Proven experience in managing designers and creative teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to provide constructive creative direction and feedback, aligning design outputs with overall brand strategy and objectives.
