Job Description
Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group is pleased to be supporting a well-established organisation in Wrexham looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the following duties:
Key responsibilities:
- Chasing payments for 2 of the Companies within the Group, via email, and telephone
- Ensuring that all remittances are allocated correctly to ledgers
- Processing cash postings onto the ERP system.
- Reconciliation of the customer accounts
- Opening and monitoring all new accounts and setting credit limits
- Copy invoices, confirming delivery of goods
- Preparing and processing the daily banking and monthly direct debits collections
Skills/Experience
- Must have previous experience dealing with customers over the phone in a polite and professional manner
- Proactively deal with issues should they arise
- Confident in liaising with other internal stakeholders
- Competent Excel & Word skills
- Use of an ERP system would be and advantage but not essential as full training will be given
What's On Offer
- Up to £30,000 per annum (possibly more if the person has strong credit control experience in a manufacturing environment)
- Full time hours - Monday to Friday- all onsite
