Credit Controller

Infopro Digital group are recruiting for a Credit Controller on a permanent basis in our London offices.

In this role you will ensure money is collected from customers according to the terms and conditions of contracts, resolving customers' invoice queries in a timely manner to facilitate payment and ensuring collections are in line with set targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As a key member of the credit control team you will work on:

1. Chase outstanding balances by phoning, e-mailing, sending letters, issuing statements etc.
2. Issue letters to companies whose accounts are overdue, with next steps if payment is not made by deadlines.
3. Resolve customer queries regarding payments and invoice queries as quickly and efficiently as possible.
4. Raise any necessary invoice or credit notes on customer accounts.
5. Transfer and allocate payments.
6. Meet monthly cash collection targets set by the Credit Control Manager to reduce company debt and debtor days.
7. Liaise with all other departments, including working closely with the Sales team to ensure excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
8. General administration of accounts including updating customer contacts, addresses and PO numbers.
9. Work alongside the Sales team and Client Services team to manage and restructure customer accounts.

You will report to the Credit Control Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Credit Controller position is essential.
• The ability to manage difficult conversations, whilst maintaining a positive relationship with customers.

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills over the phone and in writing.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Experience of dealing with a high volume of customer accounts.
• Able to work to set deadlines.
• Good team player.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
