Role: Credit Research Analyst

Location: London

Contract Type: 12 months

Reporting to: Bryn Jones

The Role

To analyse company reports and produce high quality credit research for internal use. In addition, to provide support to a variety of stakeholders and investment professionals within the business.

Outcomes of the Role
  • Producing high quality credit research for RAM
  • Analysing company reports for internal use with a primary focus providing research for the RAM FI team
  • Providing efficient support to the FMs and keep updated trading notes on the system
  • Attending investment committee meetings and present research at the daily meeting
  • Keeping an eye on new issues and trade ideas for other analysts and FMs
  • Keep an eye on daily cash positions
Knowledge & Experience
  • Can build constructive relationships, share and develop ideas, listen and consult with colleagues.
  • Communication skills - both verbally and through the written word, in an effective and positive manner, adopting a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Corporate and cross functional awareness - an understanding of the professional and personal services we offer to clients. Develop and maintain an awareness of the organisational structure and goals. Demonstrate an understanding of the work of other departments in the organisation and how they inter-relate. Relate own work to that of other departments in the organisation.
  • High level of accuracy and a low level of errors within agreed deadline.
  • To be able to plan and manage time effectively, allocating realistic timescales
  • Methodical and consistent approach and builds systematic work processes into activities and tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to change positively
  • CFA Preferred
