Customer / Claims Consultant
Our client is a fast-growing specialist health insurance business which, since 1994, has been delivering first class medical insurance and a personalised service to its members across the UK.
Our client is well established within their sector located in Watford.
Role Overview
The role of Claims Consultant, reporting to the Member & Employee Services Manager, is to deliver high quality service to our customers.
Your Duties Include:
- Assisting the department to achieve its new business and retention targets by providing customer service excellence.
- Performing claims processes competently, accurately, professionally, time efficiently and with attention to detail in all areas.
- Providing professional and friendly telephone-based assessments and authorisation of claims.
- Providing written confirmation of claims assessments and decisions.
- Dealing with invoice payment queries.
- Following the correct compliance and processes procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with customer service / claims handling experience, great listening skills, strong communication skills, able to build rapport and relationships, proactive with good IT skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Your package is £25k, office-based role Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm (1h break), 23 days holidays, plus 8 bank holidays, training, development, pension, dental care, medical insurance, bonus, and great offices and team.
