Customer Service Administrator (Temp)

Job Title: Customer Service Administrator

This is an initial 8-week temporary contract, to start immediately

Department: Administration

Reporting to: Customer Service Manager

Purpose of the Role:

Supporting the Sales Team to ensure that all main responsibilities are met to enable the sales process to run at optimum efficiency and accuracy to agreed customer timelines in order to provide top quality customer service.

Main Job Responsibilities:

1. Data input and processing sales orders at a fast and accurate pace to ensure order deadlines are met
2. Booking couriers and arranging order collections
3. Tracking orders and following up on any delivery delays with the relevant couriers
4. Communicating to customer order queries/enquiries and ensuring follow-up actions are completed within the promised time scales directly with the customer.
5. Issuing and monitoring RMA (Returns Material Authorisation) on a daily basis and ensure process is completed in a timely manner
6. Accurately creating commercial invoices for shipments
7. Managing enquiries from customer service portals
8. Raising credit notes
9. Administration and switchboard cover
10. Any other duties as requested by the company from time to time

Skills Required:

1. Fast and accurate keyboard / data entry skills, with excellent attention to detail
2. At least 2 years' experience in an administrative role, with good general IT skills
3. Able to work effectively at a busy pace
4. Excellent telephone manner
5. Minimum qualification of Maths and English GSCE (level grade B or above) - numeracy and literacy with good command of English language
6. Friendly, enthusiastic, determined, flexible, self-motivated, reliable, conscientious, team player, sense of humour, achievement motivated, able to work under pressure.
