Cyber Underwriter

Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis.

Location: London - Hybrid working with 3 days in our London office.

The opportunity:

Are you an experienced Cyber Underwriter looking for a new challenge? Do you want to play a critical part in the success of our Cyber business? If so, we would love to hear from you!

Joining our Commercial Insurance business based in London, you'll support the Cyber Underwriting team to maintain a profitable portfolio by delivering a market leading level of service and underwriting to our intermediaries and customers.

You'll be responsible for the Underwriting of Cyber Business, in accordance with the relevant strategies, guidelines, authorities and pricing guidance, as well as contributing to the achievement of the Cyber business strategic and operational objectives.

What will you be doing?

• Support delivery and execution of plan.
• Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work towards increased levels of authority to support team goals.
• Work closely with the Head of Cyber to build knowledge base.
• Promptly handle and positively resolve enquiries from brokers, customers and colleagues.
• Ensure that accurate records are maintained and the prompt production of quality documentation, in accordance with guidelines.
• Opportunity to support and coach other members of staff within the team.

What are we looking for?

• Previous Cyber Underwriting experience, preferably in the London market.
• Strong existing broker relationships in the Cyber market.
• Strong technical understanding of Cyber exposures, controls and cover.
• Strong interpersonal skills regarding internal and external interaction.
• Proactive approach.
• Effective numerical, verbal and written communication skills.
