D365 Technical Architect - CoPilot

This role requires Copilot Studio, Dynamics 365 Customer Service, and Power Platform knowledge. We are looking for someone with senior experience in D365 and Power Platform, specifically with D365 Power Platform architect role experience.

What impact will you have in this role?

The candidate will be working on Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solution and technical architecture, solution development, delivery, and configuration for Cognizant's public sector customers.

What will the Dynamics CRM Architect be doing day-to-day?

• Analyzing the client's business, developing an understanding of their business objectives, and identifying efficient ways D365/CRM will add value to their business.
• Understanding customer's intent and existing architecture and proposing the best possible solution to their business problem and processes. Designing TDD and FDD documents and obtaining necessary stakeholder approval.
• Working on individual delivery items as well as managing task assignment, delivery, troubleshooting, and peer reviews where applicable.
• Maintaining best practice guidance for the team and overall project deliverables.
• Planning and executing the implementation of CRM developments, providing regular progress updates to internal and external clients.
• Assisting with project communication and best practices throughout the system implementation.
• D365 Solution Management.
• Knowledge of performance tuning possibilities in Dynamics 365 implementations.

What type of experience does the Dynamics 365 CRM Architect need to be successful in this role?

• Experience of Dynamics 365 CRM capabilities and extensibilities.
• Design and development experience in Dynamics 365.
• Experience of Power Platform development (Power Apps Portals, Model-Driven/Canvas Applications), Microsoft Dataverse, Power Automate.
• Hands-on experience in configuration, customization, and extension of Dynamics CRM.
• Hands-on experience in Copilot Studio to develop or extend Copilots.
• SQL Server 2008 or above with custom report experience through SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and FetchXML.
• .NET Framework Version 4.5 or above, including strong WCF/Web API experience.
• Knowledge of web development, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, JavaScript, and SQL.
• C# and OOP concepts.
• TypeScript and its conversion to JavaScript.
• Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.

Nice to have skills

• Microsoft Azure knowledge.
• Experience of data integration and data migration projects.
• Power BI Reporting.

What education and certification credentials are needed for this role?

• Must have strong years of Dynamics 365/CRM development experience.
• Experience of Power Platform development (Power Apps Portals, Model-Driven/Canvas Applications).
