Job Description

Murphy is recruiting for a Data Analyst to work with the Energy Team in Leeds.

A day in the life of a Murphy Data Analyst:

  1. Work closely with business reporting stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements to acquire and present relevant datasets.
  2. Handle large and complex datasets from Primavera P6, SAP SuccessFactors, and other key construction-centric systems.
  3. Verify the integrity of extracted data.
  4. Support embedding and applying revised Data Governance and Information Security standards and best practices.
  5. Apply Murphy best practices to code management, documentation, and release.
  6. Work as part of the Planning and Project Controls Function, alongside the Resource Management Team.
  7. Allocate project work as required during the project duration.
  8. Liaise with planners, operational staff, and other technical staff.
  9. Assist with designing maintenance procedures and implementing them.
  10. Provide user training, support, and feedback as needed.
  11. Build effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
  12. Support and guide other team members.
  13. Attend sites to assist remote application users as needed.
