Data Center Manager
Are you ready to take on a challenging role in a dynamic and innovative environment? We are currently seeking an experienced Data Center Manager to join our clients technical department and play a key role in managing and enhancing their technical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and implement technical solutions to meet business and operational needs.
Lead medium to large-scale implementation projects, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Develop functional and technical specifications and manage the RFP (Request for Proposal) process, including supplier selection and contract negotiation.
Produce technical documentation, including architecture and impact analysis reports.
Act as the primary point of contact for problem management within the technical domain.
Engage with external partners, industry bodies, and internal teams to gather insights and influence technical strategy.
Define and maintain the medium and long-term technical roadmap.
Collaborate with other technical leaders to align solutions and strategies across the organization.
Be available for on-call duties when required.
Your Profile:
Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
Strong experience in engineering, deployment, and management of technical environments, ideally in data centers or similar settings.
Strong knowledge of site infrastructure systems (HVAC, UPS, electricity, fire prevention, access control).
Proven track record in project management and leading complex technical projects.
Strong organizational and task management abilities.
Team player with a growth mindset and openness to feedback.
Fluent in French is required, English is a big plus.
Traveling to data centers in Belgium is not an issue for you
