Description

We are looking for a Data Product Owner to join our team and drive the development of innovative, data-driven products. You will act as the critical link between business and technology, collaborating with stakeholders, users, and development teams to build high-impact data solutions.

As the Data Product Owner, you will take ownership of our data product roadmap, define requirements, and ensure that our technical teams are working on the most valuable initiatives. You will have a deep understanding of customer needs, a passion for data, and a results-driven mindset to deliver meaningful products that enhance business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the technical development of the data product roadmap, working closely with stakeholders, users, and product management.
  • Gather, analyse, and translate business needs into high-quality product specifications (user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows).
  • Produce monitoring and performance insights on your area of ownership, identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Work alongside other Product Owners to manage dependencies and ensure seamless integration across projects.
  • Co-create solutions with clients, users, and technology teams to continuously improve our data products.
  • Advocate for best practices in data product development, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams in an agile environment to prioritise work and maximise value delivery.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner leading end-to-end product delivery.
  • Strong background in technical roles within fast-paced agile development teams.
  • Experience in data-focused roles, understanding data modelling, pipelines, and analytics.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies, with the ability to adapt and learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to define business problems and translate them into actionable product requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to motivate and collaborate with technical teams, ensuring alignment and shared vision.
