Our client is seeking a Data Protection Consultant to support the CEO and wider team on various projects. This role involves working on data protection initiatives, assisting with client assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will manage project tasks, engage with clients, and contribute to business development while utilising IT systems and platforms effectively.
Job Duties:
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals within assigned deadlines.
- Maintain oversight of project tasks and communicate regularly with the Supervisor.
- Identify and address potential risks or issues within projects.
- Utilise IT platforms, including Lucidchart, CRM, and Office 365, to manage project tasks and documentation.
- Ensure all project updates, progress reports, and relevant notes are recorded on the CRM platform.
- Conduct current state assessments for potential clients and prepare detailed reports.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and identify business development opportunities.
- Assist with client meetings, travel arrangements, and travel to client locations as required.
- Contribute to process optimisation to enhance project outcomes and profitability.
- Stay informed on data protection trends and industry developments.
- Prepare project updates and presentations for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project standards.
- Support training courses by preparing handouts, manuals, and documentation.
- Work on CookieScan and YourDataSafe projects as directed by the Managing Director.
Job Requirements:
- Post-secondary education, with GDPR or CI Data Protection awareness being advantageous.
- Professional qualification in data protection is desirable.
- Experience in data protection issues.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
- Results-driven with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
