Data Scientist - Outside IR35

This is an opportunity for a Data Scientist to play a key role in building Machine Learning and AI Solutions for customers, at the forefront of MS Azure technologies. The successful candidate will have commercial experience leading a team or working independently.

Responsibilities:

1. Take a lead role in the design and development of machine learning, statistical algorithms and solutions.
2. Help clients realise the potential of data science, machine learning, and scaled data processing within the Azure ecosystem.
3. Ownership for the delivery of core solution components.
4. Manage the design and delivery of the data architecture.
5. Communicate and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and customers.
6. Work directly with clients to understand requirements and present solutions to customer sponsors.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. Microsoft Azure expertise primarily using Azure Machine Learning.
2. Extensive experience with Databricks, ML Flow, storytelling tools and techniques.
3. Strong commercial experience creating predictive models, statistical analysis, and pricing analysis.
4. Working with large data sets (real time, storage, and geo-spatial data).
5. Writing and reviewing data science code, proficient in Python, C#, SQL, R, or other programming languages for data analysis and machine learning.
6. A background in data science or data engineering.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Strong appetite to work closely with customers.

Additional Information:

1. Rate: £500-550 (dependent on experience).
2. IR35: Outside.
3. Start date: ASAP.
4. Initial Duration: Join on a full-time basis for 4 weeks, or a fractional basis (2-3 days/ week) for 6 weeks.
5. Location: Remote.
