Job Description

Position: Delegate Sales Executive

Contract: Full time/Permanent

Location: London, Hybrid

Salary: £25k-30k with 40% base salary commission

Our client is an entrepreneurial and creative, digital-facing organisation on the cutting edge of media, working in the sustainability and financial services markets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Actively manage the client database to ensure information is accurate and kept up to date.
  2. Present an appropriate sales proposition to the qualified decision maker, with the intention of confirming their attendance at our events.
  3. Build relationships through active management, including meetings, attending events, and phone conversations.
  4. Competently manage and maintain all elements of the registration process, working towards recruitment and retention deadlines.
  5. Regularly read industry publications to keep up to date with people moves.
  6. Be active on LinkedIn and across the market to promote events.
  7. Achieve team event targets and KPIs, such as number of registrations, calls, and meetings per week.
  8. CRM knowledge is preferable (HubSpot) with good working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  9. Identify cross-selling opportunities, understanding the client's needs and providing them with information about future events in the portfolio.
  10. Work as part of a team with strong internal communication skills with sales, marketing, and operations.

Skills and abilities:

  1. Preferably from a sales background with a natural ability to build relationships.
  2. A confident individual who is eager to learn.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Experience in a sales environment with a proven track record of consistently achieving targets.
  5. A quick learner with intellectual curiosity who can understand different markets and subject matter quickly.
  6. Able to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines, while keeping accurate records of data and callbacks.
  7. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  8. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  9. Positive, enthusiastic approach and ability to work on own initiative.
  10. Ability to remain patient and calm under pressure.
  11. A team player who can work across matrix organizations.
