Job Description

The Delivery Manager is a key role contributing to the successful delivery of contracted professional services within the technology space to our customers within both the public and private sectors. We build teams to either deliver a complete outsourced service or to blend with a customer team to enable a joint delivery.

We are looking for a Delivery Manager to report into the CTO, who is accountable for the overall successful service delivery to all customers.

This role holds accountability for the delivery of the committed statement of work, performance management of our teams, and managing risks/resolving issues impacting our ability to deliver a high-quality outcome. This role requires the successful candidate to possess a rare mix of project delivery, people management, and stakeholder management within a technology landscape. Overall customer ownership is shared across the delivery manager, account manager, engagement lead, and senior members of the delivery team.

Reports to: The CTO.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Delivery Management
  1. Delivery of the contracted service aligned to agreed statement of works, client's requirements, and RedRock delivery governance standards.
  2. Resource planning / demand management.
  3. Key stakeholder management, routine SOW tracking, account reviews, and performance assessments with RedRock's customer.
  4. Supporting RedRock customers with identifying benefit realisation opportunities and production of business cases.
  5. Manage Statement of Work (SoW) creation and tracking / KPIs / facilitate the contract renewal process with the RedRock leadership team.
  6. Regular reporting and delivery governance & assurance (e.g., weekly & monthly reporting, financial tracking, deliverable tracking).
  7. Risk identification and mitigation.
Strategic
  1. Identify growth opportunities within existing customer accounts and collaborate with the wider RedRock team to explore.
  2. Support business development activities such as proposal and case study production based on experience on the ground.
  3. Support the Delivery Director with internal initiatives related to maturing governance and processes as RedRock continues to grow.
  4. Support & coach the wider RedRock team to allow them to build the best team for our customers.

Experience Required
  1. Minimum 5 years' professional experience.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience working in a consultancy or digital agency organisation.
  3. Demonstrable experience of working in a highly visible customer-facing role.
  4. An IT delivery background (not limited to tech roles - i.e. IT project management).
  5. Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across many levels in an organisation.
  6. Has led or has been involved in the hiring process.
  7. Awareness of commercials and contracts.
  8. Experience in content writing for bids/tenders/RFPs.
  9. Has managed people in an IT environment, ideally both permanent and contract.
  10. Familiar with managing risks and resolving incidents with customers.
  11. Experience of building MI / Reporting for customers.
  12. Previous experience of working across a broad range of business sectors covering both the public and private sectors.
  13. Experience delivering to UK government Digital & Data departments including familiarity with GDS Service Standards and delivery lifecycles.
Remuneration

Base Salary up to £60k
Discretionary bonus directly linked to account performance and new business you support.
