THE ROLE

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Delivery Operations Director to drive operational excellence into the Customer Experience - Project Delivery organization of Temenos. This leadership role, reporting to the Chief Delivery Officer, will have oversight over 3 key operational business areas: The Project Management Office, which controls the quality and methodologies for the scoping and delivery of Temenos customer implementation projects; Service Sales Operations which controls the financials of the global delivery business; And the Governance and Audit function, which assesses and manages risk, reports on key performance drivers of the business, and provides audit control over budgets and project risks.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale service delivery operations in the banking or financial services technology space, with a focus on process optimization and financial control.

OPPORTUNITIES

  1. Your team will develop/enhance project delivery methodologies that champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that service delivery consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations, especially in complex, enterprise-level banking software implementations.
  2. Your team will analyze and optimize delivery workflows to ensure streamlined processes that reduce costs, improve efficiency, and eliminate bottlenecks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in budget.
  3. Your team will develop and implement metrics to track service delivery performance and establish regular relevant reporting to senior leadership.
  4. Your team will collaborate with finance and product sales operations teams to develop forecasts and manage revenue and margin targets across the services business, intervening as needed to take action on projects at risk of financial or go-live over-runs, as well as shortfalls against financial targets. This will include ensuring that complex commercial contract negotiations are managed as needed to address change requests from Customers. All required reporting and sales cadence will also be handled by this team.
  5. Your team will manage risks (financial, scope and delivery dates) related to service delivery of projects led by Temenos or by our Partners.
  6. Your team will be responsible to prepare and manage internal team communications, and monthly/quarterly business reviews.

SKILLS

  1. You should have at least 7 years running a multi-functional Operations Team, with at least 3 years of direct Sales Operations experience.
  2. You should have previous experience in a Project Management environment in a Professional Services/Consulting delivery business, preferably having run a Project Management Office. Previous experience writing or negotiating Statements of Work (SOW) preferred.
  3. You should have excellent skills in management, Clari, and at least one business reporting platform (such as PowerBI or Tableau).
  4. You should have experience with any Professional Services Automation tool.
  5. You should have advanced MS Powerpoint and expert level Excel skills.
  6. You should be meticulously detail orientated with strong financial acumen.
