Job Title: Deployment Engineer

Contract Duration: 4 Months (03 March 2025 - July 2025, exact end date TBC)

Location:

• Primary Site: Stretford, Manchester
• Mandatory Training Location (First 2 Weeks): South Bank, London

Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Rate: £130 Per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella only)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Deployment Engineer to assist with the staging and deployment of Windows-based laptops and desktops. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up approximately 80 laptops and 10 desktops on-site at our Manchester location.

Prior to starting the main assignment, there is a mandatory two-week in-person training and knowledge transfer session in London to obtain client-specific access, including a company-issued laptop and GID card. Remote training is not an option.

Key Responsibilities:

• Windows laptop and desktop staging, configuration, and deployment
• Ensuring all devices are properly connected and operational
• Troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues
• Working closely with the onsite team to ensure smooth deployment
• Following company procedures for IT asset management and security compliance

Requirements:

• Experience with Windows laptop/desktop staging and deployment
• Basic troubleshooting skills for Windows OS and hardware
• Ability to work onsite in Manchester for the contract duration
• Availability to attend mandatory training in London for two weeks (from 17 February 2025 onwards)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical processes
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Additional Information:

• Travel and accommodation for the London training period will need to be arranged by the candidate.
• The role requires client specific Onboarding, including the issuance of company devices and access credentials.
