Your Role: Reporting into the Head of Programmatic & Operations, this role will manage our digital audio campaign delivery. The role will work across all News Broadcasting brands including talkSPORT, Virgin Radio, Times Radio and Talk.
Day to day you will:
- Be responsible for all aspects of digital audio campaign fulfilment including trafficking, troubleshooting, reporting, optimization, billing and reconciliation.
- You will proactively identify opportunities to improve campaigns, whether through changes to configuration, or through optimisation of placements & audiences.
- Liaise with the wider sales team pre-sale, to ensure campaigns are booked on correctly and adhere to Ad Ops' SLA's.
- Co-ordinate copy allocation via JET and manual upload to the adserver, adhering to copy rotation instructions.
- Track campaign delivery on a daily basis to ensure campaigns deliver in full and on time.
- Communicate any potential under-deliveries to relevant sales teams and clients, and proactively plan steps to mitigate under-delivery risks.
- Create and send delivery reports and EOC reports to clients and agencies in a timely manner.
- Assist the Client Services team with gathering stats/recommendations for PCA's.
- Meticulously check campaign bookings in the OMS to ensure all relevant information is captured before trafficking.
- Analyse delivery trends, especially for podcast campaigns to ensure smooth pacing is achieved.
- Keep abreast of campaign/brand clashes/sponsorships to ensure no breaches occur.
- Liaise with the Client Services team on all podcast host read activations, to ensure workflow nuances per show/supply partner is adhered to.
What we're looking for from you:
- Passion for media, technology and advertising, with experience in Ad Operations, either at a publisher, agency or ad tech company.
- Experience as a campaign manager or ad trafficker in the digital space - preferably in audio.
- Knowledge and understanding of the programmatic landscape, DSP's/SSP's/PMP's etc.
- Advanced technical knowledge of digital formats across display, video and audio.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Process driven individual with the ability to instill Ad Ops processes to the wider business.
- Demonstrable experience of adhering to creative and copy guidelines e.g. Ofcom/ASA/Radiocentre etc.
- Team player with the ability to work independently across your patch of campaigns/sales members.
- Experience of using ad servers - preferably Audioserve (Adswizz)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and reporting experience for digital campaigns; including commentary and optimisation recommendations.
- Wider knowledge of other media channels and their value within the digital sphere.
- Excellent time management skills, being able to manage multiple campaigns and timelines at once.
