Summary:

The Director of Digital and Content Marketing is a strategic and influential leadership role that will play a crucial role in driving the next phase of growth at SJP. You'll be responsible for bringing together content origination, marketing and digital distribution into a seamless user journey that aligns with consumer communication preferences.

To achieve this, you'll be responsible for all digital marketing channels and internal digital engagement channels. You'll also oversee the production of company-wide editorial content, ensuring consistency, embedding client centricity and applying tone of voice.

What you'll be doing:
  • Develop and lead the company-wide digital and content marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee all digital marketing channels and internal engagement platforms, including automation, CRM and AI integration.
  • Deliver a multi-channel content strategy that reflects communication preferences and consumer needs.
  • Manage the production of high-quality editorial content, ensuring clarity, consistency and compliance.
  • Build a digital services platform to empower partnerships and support client acquisition.
  • Drive adoption of marketing technologies, embedding robust digital analytics frameworks.
  • Manage relationships with digital and content agencies, ensuring strong performance and value.
  • Lead a high-performing team with a focus on capability development and embedding Consumer Duty principles.
  • Champion strong governance, digital risk management and alignment to the organisational culture and values.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Extensive senior leadership experience in digital and content marketing, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, marketing automation, and AI-driven tools.
  • Deep understanding of client segmentation, personalisation strategies, and communication preferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver integrated campaigns and high-quality, compliant content.
  • Experience navigating regulatory frameworks around financial promotions and customer communications.
  • Confident influencer with exceptional interpersonal, analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing large teams and budgets, and leading cross-functional or matrix teams.
  • High digital literacy with an eye for innovation and emerging technology opportunities.
Special requirements:

Please be aware that this position is a Certification role under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime.
