We're making the world of digital assets accessible and secure for everyone. Join the mission.
Founded in 2014, Ledger is the global platform for digital assets and Web3. Over 20% of the world's crypto assets are secured through our Ledger Nanos. Headquartered in Paris and Vierzon, with offices in UK, US, Switzerland and Singapore, Ledger has a team of more than 900 professionals developing a variety of products and services to enable individuals and companies to securely buy, store, swap, grow and manage crypto assets - including the Ledger hardware wallets line with more than 6 million units already sold in 200 countries.
At Ledger, we embody the values that make us unique: Pragmatism, Audacity, Commitment, Trust and Transparency. Hear from our employees how they shape the work we do here .
Working at Ledger, you're joining an Engineering team which builds hardware, operating systems, embedded apps, mobile apps, websites and services; where security and quality are at the heart of them all. The QA team's mission at Ledger is to cut across all these teams and ensure customer satisfaction by setting in place what we need to deliver high quality products.
As our Director of Quality Assurance, reporting to the VP Engineering, you'd be putting your tech skills at the service of this mission: set-up dashboards to measure the various quality aspects of our software products and spot issues, analyze found issues and support our engineering managers to fix them, and organize quality controls within our software development workcycle compatible with continuous delivery practices.
Because you won't be building these products directly, but instead working alongside the engineering teams to do so, your ability to influence will be paramount. Building high quality products can only be done if quality is built-in day-1 and is everyone's responsibility.
Your mission:
Own the QA strategy. Our QA practices should yield results and if not, analyze what's failing and provide an actionable plan to turn things around for engineering managers
Work closely as a Quality partner to Engineering Managers helping them ensure they ship high quality products
Develop and implement a QA Education program to enhance the skills of our QA Engineers and the broader engineering team
Lead the QA Team (11 people) and create a robust organization, ensuring roles & responsibilities as well as testing methodologies are defined, applied and impactful
Collaborate with Engineering leaders on strategic initiatives defining how we'll ensure quality during development and run
Keep Tech & Product accountable by setting up the right quality measures
