You will design and implement the Reward strategy, aligning it with the People Strategy and harnessing commercial insight. Partnering with business leaders, you'll create a reward offering that balances consistency with tailored solutions for different business areas.
With your leadership and proficiency in Compensation, Benefits, and Pensions, you will unite two reward teams, delivering exceptional, customer-centric initiatives and providing expert guidance on compensation packages. The role includes responsibility for the companywide reward policy, with regular reporting to the CEO, Remuneration Committee, Shareholders, and Regulators.
As a key member of the People Operations, HRIS & Reward function, you'll collaborate across the People & Transformation team and work with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Employee Relations to ensure the reward strategy meets business needs. This role offers the chance to drive real change and significantly impact VMO2's cultural and commercial success.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:
- Current knowledge of tax, pension, and legislative changes affecting reward practices within the UK.
- Proven experience in preparing and presenting reports to the Remuneration Committee, especially during periods of significant organisational change.
- Excellent project management skills with extensive experience in leading sophisticated, cross-functional projects.
- Ability to bring a fresh perspective and valuable insights to the senior leadership team, challenging the status quo when necessary and providing guidance and counsel on all Reward-related matters.
- Inspirational leader with the ability to coach and mentor junior People professionals, fostering their development and growth.
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to bring:
- Knowledge of DC and DB pensions an advantage, and expertise of liability management and risk mitigation for DB schemes.
- Full CIPD membership and qualified (or equivalent) business qualification.
- Knowledge of Senior Managers Regime.
- Strong organisation diagnostic and consulting skills. Customer and business centric approach.
