Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Project Manager - Shortlisting/interviewing immediately

Job Purpose:

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced and driven Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee the successful delivery of Dynamics CRM, D365 CE, ERP, Data, and Modern Workplace projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves creating project roadmaps, managing resources, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. You will also be responsible for tracking financials, addressing potential risks, and ensuring profitability, while providing regular updates to clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality D365 CE (CRM), ERP, Data, and Modern Workplace projects, ensuring they meet project objectives, deadlines, and budget constraints.
  • Successfully manage multiple D365 CE / CRM projects simultaneously, while maintaining excellent attention to detail and project management discipline.
  • Create and maintain essential project documentation, including roadmaps, project plans, and status reports.
  • Coordinate with the Resourcing team to ensure accurate and timely project billing.
  • Work closely with clients to define project objectives, strategy, and requirements for Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement system implementations.
  • Regularly update clients on project progress, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring the project is on track.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client organizations, their business needs, and the unique challenges within their industry.
  • Lead project communication, ensuring smooth collaboration between the client, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that client and internal expectations are aligned, keeping the project within scope, on budget, and on schedule.
  • Identify project risks, proactively mitigating challenges and providing solutions in partnership with the implementation team and clients.
  • Assist with management reporting, including tracking project financials, ensuring profitability, and managing costs.
  • Ensure full control over the project's financials, ensuring alignment with agreed budgets and timelines.

Skills & Experience:

  • Project Management Qualifications: Prince 2, APM, PMI, or equivalent.
  • Proven Project Management Experience: Minimum of 3 years managing D365 CE (CRM) projects within a consultancy environment.
  • Delivery Methodologies: Expertise in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Multi-tasking & Adaptability: Strong ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated & Results-Oriented: Strong self-direction, with a focus on delivering results in a timely and efficient manner.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing CRM, D365 CE, and ERP projects is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Package: Up to £65K, £5400 car allowance, 23 days holiday rising to 28 days with time of service, bank holidays, 5% bonus.

Remote / Home-based & working at client sites as required.
