As a Dynamics Functional Consultant, your goal is to drive business success through harnessing the power of Microsoft Dynamics.

You will ensure the successful delivery of IT changes and projects by engaging with the business to perform discovery and fit-gap analysis, engage subject matter experts and stakeholders, translate requirements, and design and configure fit-for-purpose D365 solutions for business use.

What you'll do
  • Understand the business processes, objectives and pain points to gather and document fit gap analysis into Dynamics business services.
  • Design and configure Microsoft D365 solutions to align with business needs, which may involve customising CRM/ERP modules, entities, workflows and forms, as well as having a good understanding of all D365 applications.
  • Map existing and proposed business processes to Dynamics 365 functionality to ensure the seamless integration of the software with the business' operations.
  • Plan and execute data migration activities, including data cleansing, transformation and importing into D365.
  • Train end-users and provide documentation to ensure they can effectively use the D365 system and its features.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance team in system testing and help develop test plans to validate that the system meets the defined requirements.
  • Assist in the deployment of D365 solutions and support the organisation during the go-live phase to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting and issue resolution for Dynamics 365 users.
  • Continuously evaluate the system's performance and work with the client to identify opportunities for improvements and enhancement.
  • Provide performance metrics for the Dynamics Competency Centre and the Dynamics Platform Design Authority to review.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with business teams using existing D365 business services, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project progress and alignment with client expectations.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, design specifications, configuration changes and training materials.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft D365 updates and industry best practices to offer clients the most effective and efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers and technical consultants to ensure that Dynamics 365 integrates seamlessly with other systems and applications within the organisation.
  • Develop and implement custom plugins, workflows and reports as needed to meet specific client requirements.
  • Help our business manage the change associated with the adoption of new systems and processes, including user adoption strategies and change control procedures.
What you'll need

We are looking for:

  • Excellent D365 product knowledge, eg, modules, services, developer tool suites, use cases and case studies.
  • Relevant technical qualifications to the role, eg, Microsoft Certified D365 Functional Consultant Associate (MB-240, PL-200, MB-300 and MB-310).
  • A strong understanding and competency in IT, eg, cloud infrastructure, databases, integration methods, reporting and analytics, active directory, ITIL, customer support and change management.
  • Prior experience in a relevant role (eg, support or development) using D365 toolsets.
  • Prior experience in relevant projects (eg, a good portfolio of past experience and project involvement in end-to-end CRM/ERP implementation).
  • Personability and communication, translating into skills in gathering, documenting and translating business requirements into system configurations and features and providing knowledge through training others.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Business (ideally industry) specific knowledge of business processes (both Customer Relationship Management and Enterprise Resource Management), compliance measures and best practices.
  • Adaptability and aptitude to stay on top of the functionality of new features and a willingness to keep up to date with market trends and new features that may be beneficial for our business (eg, Co-Pilot for Dynamics).
What you'll receive

  • Career progression and professional development opportunities.
  • 25 days' holiday rising to 28 with length of service.
  • The opportunity to buy up to ten days' holiday and sell up to five every year.
  • A healthcare package that allows you to claim back healthcare costs.

  • Cashback and discounts from more than 3,000 retailers.
  • One paid volunteering day each year.
  • Enhanced family leave and pay arrangements.
