We are a well-established and reputable company specializing in the supply, installation, and maintenance of high-quality electric gate systems. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electric Gate Service & Installation Engineer to join our expanding team.

About the Role:

As an Electric Gate Service & Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of electric gate systems, including swing gates, sliding gates, and associated access control equipment. You will work independently and as part of a team, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install electric gate systems, including automation equipment, access control systems, and safety devices, according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electric gate systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of electric gates to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Conduct site surveys.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and tools.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of electric gate systems.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of access control systems, including intercoms, keypads, and remote controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with specific gate automation brands (e.g., FAAC, BFT, Came).
  • Experiance force testing
  • Experience with welding and fabrication.
