Electrical Associate Director - Data Centres - 4 Day Week - Remote

The Opportunity:
As an Electrical Associate Director, you will lead high-profile projects, serve as a technical authority, and drive innovation within the team. Your role will encompass strategic leadership, mentorship of junior engineers, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of cutting-edge designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and act as a mentor to support the professional growth of team members.
  • Lead engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet performance, budget, and timeline goals.
  • Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions, conducting feasibility studies and delivering advanced designs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
  • Represent the company at conferences and events, contributing to business development efforts.
  • Produce and review technical reports, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape business strategies and contribute to recruitment efforts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Your Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical engineering with a strong background in mission-critical or comparable projects.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with a track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and mentoring colleagues.
  • Skilled in delivering designs for complex systems, particularly in data centres or similar high-demand environments.
  • Creative and solution-oriented, with a strong understanding of industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of additional engineering disciplines or willingness to expand your expertise is highly desirable.
