Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be involved in a range of projects from small site surveys to multi-million-pound schemes. With a varied workload, you will need to demonstrate the autonomy to work independently, as well as report to and receive support from the project Associate or Director and other team members. You will contribute as part of a team to deliver projects effectively while maintaining high technical standards.

To qualify for this role, you should be degree qualified or in the process of obtaining your degree (or equivalent), have suitable design experience in the building services sector (preferably across various sectors), and be an effective communicator, both verbally and in report and specification writing.

The company conducts projects in a 3D environment and is rolling out the StabiCAD design tool across all offices. While detailed knowledge of this software is not essential (training will be provided), awareness of working in a 3D environment, cable sizing, and lighting design software is advantageous.
