We have a fantastic opportunityfor an Electrical / Electronics Engineer to join our Productdevelopment team within Stannah Homelift based at our brand-newsite in Andover.
Candidates needto be located within a commutable distance toAndover.
Candidatesmust have unrestricted right to work, sponsorship is not offered.
The working hours are 37 hoursper week, Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 and Friday 08:00 to13:00 these can be negotiated to suit the business and candidate'sneeds.
This job is to work with our productdevelopment team to generate and deliver electrical and electronicdesign solutions within the Stannah Homeliftbusiness.
We are looking for an individual who isknowledgeable about electrical and electronic systems withpractical skills in a fast-paced environment withbusiness-critical deadlines.
Abackground in Electrical Engineering and producing technicaldrawings is essential and preferably knowledge of electricalassemblies in a manufacturing environment. The job role is variedand will touch many elements of electrical and electronicengineering.
Electrical EngineerJobResponsibilities:
- Supportin the development of electrical/electronic hardware designs forsafety critical applications
- Building hardwareand creating supportingdocumentation.
- Practical testing and proving ofdesigns, supporting the Test and Developmentteam
- Supporting the development of test systemsfor manufacturing.
- Documenting Product SafetyHazard Analysis reports to assess productsafety
- Working within product standardsrequirements
ElectricalEngineer JobRequirements:
- Basicknowledge of motor control and PLCsystems.
- Ability to fault find electricalcircuits.
- Ability to produce technical drawingsto a high standard.
- Knowledge in the design anddevelopment of electrical and electro-mechanicalsystems
- Practical skills in basic wiring, loomcreation and testing desirable
- Experience inpanel wiring desirable.
- Good communicationskills
Qualifications/Skills:
- BTEC/HNC(or equivalent) in engineering related to electronic or electricalengineering
- Experience usingCAD
- Understanding of motor control andelectrical principles.
- Knowledge of basicmicrocontrollers and programming ofthem.
- Competent in the useof Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Project
