Role Purpose: As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to required specifications. This role involves ensuring the safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components to required specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall designs.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Identify and implement improvements to engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Ensure a relentless focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • IOSH / SMSTS
  • CSCS

Preferable but not essential:

  • ONC/HNC/ NVQ L3/L4 Building Services.
  • Project Management or Engineering Degree

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Electrical building services engineering.
  • Strong understanding of codes, standards, and regulations. HTM knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
