Electrical Engineering Coordinator (HV/MV)

TRS Staffing has a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Coordinator with high-voltage experience to join our client, a leader in green energy transition. This role is within their Grid and Digital Solutions team in the power projects division, specifically for the construction of a renewable energy station.

This position would be fully remote with the opportunity to travel to multiple projects.

Duties Include:

1. Coordinate design interfaces between design partners through concept and detailed design packages.
2. Ensure engineering assurance is undertaken in accordance with the client requirements.
3. Identification and control of engineering design change.
4. Undertake design reviews of vendor deliverables to check for compliance with requirements, constructability, safety, and temporary works requirements.
5. Provide technical expertise within their discipline and inspire project teams to perform, innovate, and deliver sustainable design solutions.

What you will need:

1. BSc in Electrical Engineering.
2. Proven experience within a similar role for a major electrical infrastructure company.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
4. Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the project.
5. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and efficient manner.
6. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable county, province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
