1. Manages the implementation of network policies and procedures, including envisioning and shaping network policy.
2. Manages the design of network topologies, architectures, and services that solve complex business requirements.
3. Coordinates the collaboration efforts with other engineering teams to automate various processes, owning capacity planning and implementation.
4. Manages team members to deploy, and operate infrastructure, including the implementation of the design and evolution of network architecture.
5. Manages and executes efforts to optimise network performance by growing and modifying existing networks, leveraging new and emerging technologies in support of application services.
6. Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in network architecture.
7. Coaches talent, and manages others, to develop capabilities and ensure performance through upskilling, development and recruitment.
8. Implements ways to improve working processes within the area of network architecture responsibility including optimising network performance by growing and modifying existing networks, as well as leveraging new and emerging technologies in support of application services.
