Job Description

If you are a knowledgeable and committed person who is well organized and excited about developing decarbonisation projects to make a lasting difference, this role could be the perfect fit for you. The role will focus on:

• Sharing your technical and practical knowledge to reduce energy consumption, carbon emissions and increase renewables generation, to improve energy conservation.
• Developing and delivering complex and high-profile carbon reduction projects to support the delivery of the Council's corporate Net Zero targets.
• Inputting into funding bids, scanning for opportunities that further corporate Net Zero objectives.
• Working collaboratively across the Council, with key stakeholders and partners across Oxford City.
• Using your initiative to find opportunities to reduce energy use and deliver the Council's decarbonisation objectives.
