Software Engineering Manager

Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne (Hybrid)

Your Impact

  • Continuous Improvement: Encourage innovation, explore new ideas, and implement modern development practices like automated testing and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Organize team sessions to exchange expertise, tackle challenges, and foster shared learning.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks, set clear goals, and deliver impactful results.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and motivating engineering teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in system design, architecture, and high-level coding (preferably in C# or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A knack for managing competing priorities, delegating tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.
