What that means day to day
In this role, you will lead a talented team of Salesforce developers, driving the design, development, and implementation of custom Salesforce solutions to meet business needs. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions that support both operational efficiency and business growth.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing Salesforce development team, fostering technical growth and problem-solving skills.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, workflows, and integrations.
- Ensure code quality and security through code reviews, best practices, and troubleshooting production issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize work, and align solutions with business objectives.
- Manage project workflows using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and resource allocation.
- Maintain documentation and support system configuration, release management, and end-user training.
What you'll need to be successful
- Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to lead, mentor, and manage a cross-functional team. Able to provide feedback and guide deliverables.
- Expertise in Salesforce application architecture, Apex, VisualForce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs, and a proven track record of integrating Salesforce with third-party tools.
- Experience with methodology, building Salesforce DevOps pipelines, and working with data migration/ETL tools.
- Familiarity with tools like BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence, as well as a solid understanding of object-oriented design and JavaScript.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to represent technical capabilities and deliverables through clear communication and contribute to the vision and roadmap of the platform.
