Job Description
FTS is looking for Ericsson OSS- RC Consultant for a 3-Month Rolling Contract (with the possibility of extension)
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Ericsson OSS RC (Ericsson's Operations Support System for Radio & Core) Engineer to join our team on a 3-month rolling contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of Ericsson OSS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- OSS RC Configuration & Implementation: Configure, install, and implement Ericsson OSS RC solutions for various clients while ensuring system compliance with operational requirements.
- System Support & Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of OSS RC systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Resolve complex technical issues within the OSS environment, coordinating with cross-functional teams and clients for effective problem-solving.
- System Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor OSS system performance, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain technical documentation, such as system configurations, troubleshooting logs, change records, and client reports.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with other engineers, developers, and project teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of OSS RC systems.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their business needs, configure solutions accordingly, and provide ongoing technical support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with Ericsson OSS: 3+ years of hands-on experience in the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Ericsson OSS RC solutions.
- Strong Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Ericsson OSS platforms, with in-depth knowledge of resource configuration and management.
- Networking Expertise: Sound understanding of networking protocols and PC.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent troubleshooting skills to address complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
The role may require travel to customer' site at least twice/week.
