EU Market Access and Pricing Manager
The EU Market Access and Pricing (MAP) Manager is a key member of the EU Market Access and Pricing regional team. This role will contribute to the EU business performance by providing and driving both technical and strategic input and solutions to EU markets to ensure patient access to GSK medicines. You will:
- Work collaboratively with EU MA directors and LOCs across GSK assets
- Support LOC implementation of global modelling and HEOR strategies/tools (on a need basis and in collaboration with regional LOC contacts)
- Ensure localisation of models (including cost-effectiveness, budget impact model, managed entry agreements) is aligned with global and EU strategy
- Review and analyse LOC data used to inform economic models (e.g. health care costs, quality-adjusted life-years, productivity losses) to ensure quality and optimal pricing and access outcomes
- Provide HEOR expertise and strategic input to local HTA dossier development on a needs basis, to influence optimal price at an appropriate pace for GSK assets
- Identify gaps in above-country modelling resources and develop mitigation plan (e.g. development of user guides/objection handlers as needed)
- Review global models in Excel and VBA and/or R
- Enhance best in class LOC HEOR access capabilities to establish and retain GSK's competitive advantage in a dynamic market environment
- Identify ambiguity or risks and escalate as appropriate
- Embed market access, commercial and health economic principles across projects, ensuring outcomes are consistently and clearly communicated
Why you? - qualification and skills required:
- You have demonstrated experience in health economic modelling and access - for example via your work in with a vendor specialising in modelling / health economics
- Have experience of the entire model design and development process of a cost-effectiveness and budget impact model
- You can independently develop high-quality and relevant economic models and connect its results with optimal pricing and access outcome
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to solving regional and local challenges
- Understand the role models plays in providing evidence for the process of pricing, reimbursement, and market access
- Able to translate complex problems clearly and transparently, able to make sense of complex data and transform it into a compelling case for change/action
- Flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to think critically and creatively
