EUC Engineer - Infrastructure & Vulnerability
Up to £50,000 per annum
Tamworth, hybrid working
We are working with a market leading and nationwide group who are looking for an experienced End User Computing Engineer to join their growing team. You will help improve their IT estate through performance, vulnerability, change and solutions management.
This is a great opportunity to join an expanding team in a consistently growing company that likes to promote from within. You will be able to work on projects with teams from multiple technical areas including infrastructure, information security and applications. You will help the company phase out their remaining on-prem infrastructure and move to a Zero Trust cloud-based infrastructure.
This position will allow working from home the majority of the time. There will be occasional meet ups in Tamworth as required, roughly once a month or quarter.
Duties
- Patching and vulnerability management, design and analysis of the Server and EUC estate
- Report on the company's position and KPIs for EUC and Patching
- Application packaging and deployment with MDM, Intune, MCM
- Creation and deployment of scripts
- Troubleshooting failed patching and automation jobs
- Incident and Change management
- Microsoft Security Patching with QSUS, MCM, WUFB
- Installation and support of AntiVirus (AV)/Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
- Maintain and promote security solutions to protect the business
- Assist with achieving ISO & Cyber Essentials Plus certifications
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong End User Compute & Vulnerability experience
- Windows environment
- Active Directory/Entra Object Hygiene
- VMWare Horizon & VDI
- PowerShell Scripting & troubleshooting
- Patching & Packaging applications
- EUC tooling eg Intune, MCM, PatchMyPC, WSUS & WUFB
- Security tooling eg SentinelOne, Nessus, Netskope
- Power Automate & DevOps Pipeline - desirable
- ISO & Cyber Essentials+
- ITIL & MCP
