Position: Executive Assistant to the Global General Counsel


The Global Office of the international BDO network is seeking an Executive Assistant to strengthen its Legal & Privacy Team in Zaventem.


As an Executive Assistant to the Global GC, you will work within the legal operations function and report to Corporate Paralegal, providing high-level, efficient support in various areas. As an important part of your role, you will directly assist Global General Counsel with diary management, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks.


You bring extensive experience and possess the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You are rigorous, organized, proactive, eager to collaborate with others and attentive to details.



Key accountabilities


  • Managing Schedules: Maintaining Global General Counsel's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Administrative support: Handling various administrative tasks, including obtaining visas, managing expenses, processing invoices etc.
  • Document preparation: Assisting in drafting, editing, and formatting documents (such as policies and memos), presentations, and various reports
  • Corporate housekeeping: Assisting in corporate housekeeping tasks by managing yearly corporate deadlines and liaising with the relevant stakeholders
  • Contract management: Maintenance and use of various contract templates, collecting signatures, ensuring the storage and archiving of hard and digital copies, maintaining up-to-date contracts databases, etc.
  • BDO Member Firms: Tracking and following up on the updates of our BDO member firms
  • Communication with different internal and external stakeholders
  • Other various administrative tasks


Qualifications and Experience



  • Relevant bachelor degree and/or experience as an EA/PA or Administrative Assistant of at least three years
  • Able to work independently and in a team, organised, attentive to detail and committed to delivering quality
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; knowledge of other languages is an asset
  • Self-motivated and well organised; constantly thinking ahead
  • Digital mindset and good IT skills, with good knowledge of Office 365 and other IT tools
