Expeditor

RINA is looking for experienced Expeditor to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in Belgium.

Requested:

• Mechanical Degree ( Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering or graduate from high school in relevant branches) / certificates such as NDT, welding, coating, etc.
• Experience as Mechanical Inspector and Expeditor (min. 3 years); Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor's premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;

Job Description:

• Expedite experience in mainly the following type of equipment

-Pressure vessels & Coolers

-Assemblies of the above (skid mounted, so welding , piping etc )

-Instruments & Valve

-Power conversion units (electrical )

-Separation units (knowledge in welding , assemblies , process etc )

Location:

Seraing, Belgium (The position will be 50% in house and 50% travelling to vendors)

Please note, we can only consider residents in Belgium for this position

Period:

A potential position for 6 to 9 months starting from 1st April 2025

Contract:

To Freelancer or to Inspector agencies, for ad hoc activities
