Job Description

The Locum Family Solicitor will:

• Manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, negotiating actively to achieve optimal results for your clients with the support of administrative and secretarial staff.
• Focus on settlement outside of court but instruct barristers when needed.
• Accurately record case information using our advanced case management system.
• Mentor associates.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Locum Family Solicitor should be:

• A Solicitor or Legal Executive.
• Hold a background in handling privately funded family law cases.
• Proficiency in general IT skills, including the use of case management systems.
• Strong relationship-building abilities with a focus on excellent customer service.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and resilience in a dynamic environment.

• An attractive hourly rate of £30-40 per hour.
