Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow at King's Fertility and King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Fellow to join our busy and well-established IVF and Reproductive Medicine service.
Main duties of the jobTogether with the others to provide Maternity & Gynaecology services for women attending King's College Hospital.
- Shared responsibility for providing 24-hour, 7 day a week cover for obstetrics & gynaecology on an on-call rota basis.
- Clinical supervision of other junior medical and non-medical staff.
- Responsible for teaching undergraduate students and contributing to Continuing Medical Education.
- Contribute to departmental research interests and Clinical Audit Programme.
- Comply with all Trust infection prevention and control policies.
- Prepare for and undertake protective interventions consistent with evidence-based practice.
- Clinical Care: Assessing and managing patients with fertility concerns.
- Assisted Conception Treatments: Supporting patients through various fertility procedures.
- Ultrasound and Procedural Training: Developing proficiency in relevant techniques.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Working closely with various healthcare professionals.
- Patient Support and Counselling: Guiding patients through their fertility journey.
- Research and Innovation: Contributing to audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Education and Training: Supporting junior doctors and participating in teaching sessions.

Person specification Qualifications and Experience- MBChB/MBBS or equivalent.
- MRCOG Part 1, 2 & 3.
- Full registration with GMC/GDC with License to Practice.
- Satisfactory completion of Foundation post or equivalent.
- Registered with and holds a licence to practice with the GMC.
- Relevant CCT or equivalent.
- Extensive NHS experience.
- Familiar with current structure of Health Service.
